A coat rack with an eloquent design reminiscent of the Maison du Brésil room.
1959
Designed by Le Corbusier, the coat rack calls to mind the design reconstruction of the Maison du Brésil room, begun in Paris in 1959. The project, which included a bed, bookcase/blackboard, desk and wardrobe was initially commissioned by architect Lucio Costa, who involved Le Corbusier and then gradually turned over to him the design of the entire building. The maestro then worked with Charlotte Perriand in the design of the interiors.
Available separately from the wardrobe, the coat rack, in metal painted grey, can be purchased in the Cassina on-line shop.
I MAESTRI
