BLACK ON WHITE, THE CONTEMPORARY EXPRESSION OF DESIGN

The Formafantasma designs become decorations on the porcelain, thanks to the know-how, skills and experience of the Ginori 1735 master painters who, working with natural ease, leave their mark through instinctive gestures, abstract signs that contemporize the concept of the design.

The collection includes a series of different-shaped vases, contemporary pieces that can stand alone or be combined to create graphic compositions. The uniqueness of the handiwork consists of the “graffito” decorations on bisque porcelain obtained through direct firing: the graffito is designed on the surface with a black pigment and then set.

Designed by Formafantasma - Cassina with Ginori 1735

Cassina introduces a unique collection of hand-painted porcelain objects by Formafantasma. Starting with the extensive Ginori Manufactury archives, the creative duo selected some of the archetypal shapes and gave them a contemporary facelift to fully maximize the individuality expressed by the Made in Florence-brand master painters.
