Patricia Urquiola interprets the joy of open-air living with a playfully designed outdoor collection; filled with soft, curvy shapes, it takes a conscious approach to the environment by using innovative, circular materials developed through research conducted by Cassina LAB, born from the collaboration with POLI.design at the Milan Polytechnic. The sunbed, with its inviting oval shape, completes the Trampoline family of outdoor furniture. Made of AISI 304 stainless steel with outdoor powder coat-finish, its seat support is in RFM®, a hand-finished recycled fibreglass material, and backrest support in self-supporting PVC and polyester fabric. Available with wheels and adjustable plastic feet, Trampoline is an elegant and versatile piece that encourages open-air enjoyment, comfort and well-being.
I CONTEMPORANEI
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo (Spain) in 1961. Lives and works in Milan. She attended the University of Architecture at Madrid Polytechnic and Milan Polytechnic, where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni.
Made of AISI 304 stainless steel with outdoor powder-coat finish, its seat support is in RFM®, a hand-finished recycled fibreglass material, and backrest support in self-supporting PVC and polyester fabric.
It is available in a version with wheels and adjustable plastic feet.
