Designed with dual personalities – warmer in the wood version, more striking in aluminium – in both versions, the Eve chair by Piero Lissoni features seat and backrest in saddle leather, a pairing of materials that makes it the perfect embodiment of Cassina’s craftsmanship skills and the ideal piece of furniture for business spaces, offices, lounges and contract settings.

A chair with two personalities, produced by Cassina in wood or metal version. The same shape changes personality based on the material it’s made of, while maintaining the seat and backrest clad in saddle leather. The clean geometry of the structure gains warmth and organic appeal in the oak or ash wood model, perfect for the home. The slender, more striking lines in the cast-aluminium version find their calling in office and contract spaces. The innovative assembly of the parts in leather reveals a skilful interaction between cuts and folds that highlights the company’s masterful craftsmanship skills. The upholstery is envisioned as an “envelope” with no visible stitching that is slipped over the structure. Extra care is also focused on functionality, aided by the seat shell in thermoformed plastic laminated to a thin layer of polyurethane, while the rounded lines of the seat add to the comfort-effect.
