The base and backrest are wrapped in hand-woven polypropylene and nylon cord that becomes a distinctive variegated or multicolour decorative element.

Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo (Spain) in 1961. Lives and works in Milan. She attended the University of Architecture at Madrid Polytechnic and Milan Polytechnic, where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni.
It is an island of relaxation and comfort, thanks to a set of cushions padded with recycled PET fibre wadding, all encased in water-repellent fabric.
